I haven't blogged here since 2012. Why am I making a stab at it again?

I realized two things about social media I wanted to get away from. First was that I was often using it as a journal, which is boring and maybe TMI for those platforms. Secondly I was using it too much for my taste, so that I felt like a tool for marketers rather than using social media as a tool for my ends.

Hiatus Over (Again)?

Finally recovered my blog account, mostly accident.  Checking print functionality on my yahoo account which I don't think I've ever used.  The name is the same as I used for hotmail years ago which I used for monster.com, before the site imploded.  Did I use that now defunct correlating hotmail account for the blog?  Sure enough.  Even though I couldn't reactivate the email I was able to use it to login here.

Now, should I prioritize changing to a more mobile friendly format before using it?  Should I blog an upcoming personal journey here?  Should I let it stay quiescent?

I wonder if I can make the old posts private?
