Allie's Journey

For the next several months this will be dedicated to information pertinent to Allene M. Maddock. Her care has been assumed by Hospice as of 06Apr12.

Please feel free to call or write her. If you call be patient and take time to explain who you are. Currently she remembers, but you have to help her focus so she truly knows who she is talking to at the moment. We have to do this too, and I frequently say something like, "Yes this is Scott, your oldest."

Her phone is area code two-zero-six, and the number is 216 3816.

Her Address:

Two PlusTwo Equals More (Of The Same)

Let me see if I understand. The republicans acknowledge they have no plan for health care reform. Only a rabid desire to stop any attempt right now. Oh, if they win in 2010 they'll give us something their corporate sponsors have written. Isn't that called blackmail when their constituents use the same tactic?

If I end up in Gitmo for putting these two things together in an obvious way we'll know there are still enough bush appointees in DOJ to get things done. I'm not worried, they didn't really get anything productive done when they were in power.

Not So Original

I've been thinking about writing some short stories or essays to go with some of the photos or images I've created. Recently there is a particular stylized version of the Avro Anson which I've not posted to Flickr which is spurring me. I've posted a number of versions of the same photo, and this one though it is evocative for me I don't think it would be for anyone else. I even have a short story in mind for it, and thought of putting it up on my other blog. I've not put any writings up there for a long time, because converting script formats to html was a royal pain, though I can't imagine that is still the case. Anyway, I thought it would be a fun thing to do.

It turns out a friend from Meisner has done just that. Funny, even after five years I still think of all my old classmates as friends. I sometimes wonder if that is presumptuous. After all, most I've only seen a few times, and some not even once since we finished. Oh well, deal with it.

I really like what Jim has done and don't think I'll approach it. Still, it motivates me.

Rolling Heads

I saw this headline,
Palin promises to keep on tweeting, and thought wouldn't that be "threatens" be more truthful?
